In the framework of the “Support the use of remittances for new businesses and jobs creation” Project: in cooperation with the Calarasi Rayon Council, a training session has been organized and held in the Calarasi Rayon. The training session has been provided to 21 participants, selected out of 25 applications to participate in the project recieved. The participants at the training session have been trained in the area of business idea identification, legal aspects, business planning, marketing, financial planning and identification of financial sources for business creation, and accounting. The participants appreciated the provided training, expressing interest to participate in further project activities, related to obtaining support in business creation.

NGO "ProRuralInvest under the project" Promoting organic agriculture in Moldova "funded by the CzechDevelopment Agency held on September 4 to 5 the second training course on " Marketing and business planning in organic farming " at which were present 16 selected farmers.  
The topics discussed in the training were:  
 
Planning a farming business, Starting the Business and legal basis in order to guide the selected entrepreneurs, business planning and business plan structure, marketing plan, operational plan, financial plan and business financing sources and its financial management, agro-technical measures. Also the experts gave some recommendations on: the organization of crop rotation and crop rotations in organic cultivation, plant protection measures for biological resources, environmental protection on the vineyards, plum tree, apricot tree;  The Certification procedure for organic food and organic production, cultivation of mushrooms like: Pleurotus ostreatus, Agaricus bisporus, medicinal mushrooms.http://rural.md/index_htm_files/0.gif

"ProRuralInvest under the project" Promoting organic agriculture in Moldova" organized a study visit during 24-28 of July, in Romania for 12 farmers and consultants from Moldova. The purpose of the visit was to learn Romanian farmers’ experience in ecological agriculture. The visit included several meetings with farmers practicing organic farming in Romania in various fields such as seed production, processing and marketing of medicinal plants, blueberry plantation,  sheep farms, bakery, dairy farm, processing milk and rural tourism, processing of honey, beekeeping, organic product marketing, animals exhibitions.http://rural.md/index_htm_files/0.gif

NGO "ProRuralInvest" in the framework of the project ,,Promoting organic agriculture in Moldova "during June 25 to 30 organized a training session for two inspectors from the organic certification body "Certificate-Eco "(local certification body). The session was held at the certification body for organic products "Ecoinspect" in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Inspectors have attended training on the topic: "Principles of inspection and certification of organic products in accordance with EC Regulation 834-2007 and EC Regulation 889-2008.

NGO"ProRuralInvest on May 31 organized a seminar in the frame of the project" Promoting organicagriculture in Moldova "financed by the Czech Development Agency at Ungheni Chamber of Commerce andIndustry, entitled" Principles of organic agriculture " involving 26 producers from Ungheni, Calarasi and Falesti. At the seminar were invited experts such as: Senic Iurie - Head of Organic Production and MAFI; Jigau George - Professor, USM, director CRPA Ciobanu Vasile - Consultant AO ProRuralInvest; Voineac Vasile – Institute of plant Protection and Organic Agriculture, Boincean Boris - professor, ICC "selection".
The topics discussed at the seminar were:  
1. General agricultural policy and organic farming conditions in the country;  
2. Agricultural biotechnology methods practiced in organic production;
3. Monitoring of economic agents in the conversion period ;
4. Ecological protection for vineyards;
5.  Rrole of leguminous crops in ecologic agriculture.

On 22-23.03.2012, in cooperation with the Leova Rayon Council, a training session is planned to be organized and held in Leova Rayon. The training session objective is to train participants in the the area of business idea identification, legal aspects, business planning, marketing, financial planning and identification of financial sources for business creation, and accounting.
